Using Pencils

TGIF!  Sorry this post is a tad late today.  My camera's battery died, and we couldn't find the charger!  Both DH and I looked for two days and no hoo.  We began to think maybe I left it in Bryce, Utah during our last trip.  Not one to give up easily, today I had to scour the house and garage one more time.  Imagine my surprise when I finally found it in a grocery bag on a shelf in the garage.  How it got in the bag and on a shelf in the garage I have no clue!  However, I am delighted to have found it!

Today's cards are a departure from the norm for me.  While I own a set of 72 Prismacolor pencils, I don't use them very often (I'm not very adept with them...kind of a chicken or the egg I not very adept because I don't use them often, or do I not use them often because I'm not very adept, lol).  Anyhow, I printed the digi on medium gray cardstock and used my Prismas to color the moon, the cat's eyes, and a window in the house on both cards and the title on one card.  I rather like the look.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. What a "DEE"-lightful way to tease me into using my pencils, fun card

  3. WOW! These are so fab, Tress! The moon and use of papers with the bat border - just stunning!

  4. This is fabulous I love the cobwebs! (and the bts!)

  5. Oh I think you did fabulous with your pencils on this image, they are both so fabulous. Love the story about the battery charger, sounds like the story of my life, lol.
