Easter Blessings

Happy Easter!  For those of you that do not observe the religious holiday, I hope you enjoy all the sweet bunnies and cute little chicks that bring such a smile and usher in the Spring.

Today's card features the adorable A Day for Daisies image, Bunny Ears.  Again, I chose purple as the main color.  The papers are from Carina Gardner's Flourish digi collection.  The ribbon is from an old spool I had in my stash.

Easter Blessings to you all!

Hop, Hop, Hop

Are you surprised to see a Saturday post from me?  I had to hurry and squeeze in the remaining Easter cards.  This bunny and his pals are digis from Dustin Pike.  I fussy cut the image Bunny Chix and then fussy cut some of the extra chicks from the image Pile On.  The Hop tag was cut from a sheet of patterned paper from the We R Memory Keepers Peep pad.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  Thank you for stopping by!

Culinary Claire

Just a quick post to show you my entries for the Stamping Chef Coloring Challenge.  The digi stamp, Culinary Claire, was a freebie if you agreed to color the image for the challenge.  I colored and submitted two as I'm undecided as to which Culinary Claire I prefer.

Spring Flings and Easter Things

TGIF!  Is everyone ready for Easter?  What are your plans?  We're headed to a friend's house for an Easter feast on Sunday...ham, mashed potatoes, veggies, deviled eggs, coconut cake, etc.  Yum!

The image on today's card was a freebie from a previous year (sorry I do not remember from whom).  I really like the bunny in the egg idea and his big nose.  The papers are from We R Memory Keepers that I've had in my stash since last year, but never used.  I'm truly trying to USE paper rather than stash it.  I'm ashamed to admit how many 6x6 paper pads I have accumulated (200+) and how many haven't even had one piece of paper used out of them.  Anyone else find themselves stashing more than using?  Anyway here's the Easter Bunny!

Have a joyous weekend!  And thank you for stopping by!

Another Tiddly Ink Easter Card

This is Emma Hoppy Easter from Tiddly Inks.  Sticking with the clean and simple theme, I layered Emma on a digi background.  Don't you just adore her pink bunny suit?  Reminds me of the feetie pjs my daughter had when she was little.  One year for Halloween I added a tail to those pjs and made her some bunny ears.  Other than the white tummy, Lauren and Emma look pretty similar!

Clean and Simple Easter Card

Thank you all for the get well wishes!  They must be working because I'm back in my craft room coloring away.  Only four more days until Easter!

Very simple, very clean, very cute!  Wryn Somebunny Loves You by Tiddly Inks was the perfect image to pair with this Easter Poem:

Bunnies are brown,
Bunnies are white,
Bunnies are always
an Easter delight!

Imagine That Challenge #3

Yep, it's my second post today!  I'm busy crafting away to complete my Easter cards in time for Easter.  Novel idea huh, actually getting the cards to people on or before Easter instead of after, lol.  This lovely digi was a freebie from Kris at Imagine That digis by Kris for playing in her challenges.  I layered the digi on a pale blue background before printing and colored the rest of the image with my Copics.  The card design came together rather quickly, and maintained the understated look I was hoping for.

Easter Card Number Two

Love this sweet image, Doodle Garden Hunny Bunny!  Her hair is easy to color, and her shirt is perfect for paper piecing, which I did with a bit of Doodlebug Hello Spring paper pad.   For the card design, I used the My Favorite Things Guest Designer Sketch 413.

Btw, on March 21, MFT posted several coloring hair tutorials which you can find here.  One includes Hunny Bunny!  I'd already colored this one up, so I'll have to ink her up again, and follow their guide.  Practice, practice, practice!

Bitten Bunnies

Happy Monday!  Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend!  After two rounds of antibiotics, I'm finally on the mends from this nasty cold.  Sorry I've been a bit MIA on visiting and commenting on your blogs.  Will definitely try to get back in the swing of things this week.

Today's card is for my dad for Easter.  He is notorious for eating the ears off the Chocolate rabbits.  Growing up you had to be quick to keep your bunny intact!  One of my sisters actually licked her bunny all over to keep anyone (Dad) from taking a bite.  Last Easter Dad's card featured a cut out rabbit with one of his ears missing.  Dad didn't even notice the ear was missing until I pointed it out to him, lol.  This year's card is not as subtle.  Without further ado, here is "Bitten Bunnies"!

P.S.  The image is from ScrapHappy Paper Crafter

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Top 'O the Morning to you!  May the Luck of the Irish be with you!  For this card, I altered the Sweet Valentine Mashi by changing out her hearts (the one she was holding and the one in her hair) for shamrocks.  Once again I used the shamrock patterned paper freebie from Kate Hadfield.  The dotted yellow paper is a digi paper from the Back to Basics collection by Carina Gardner.

Hope you are enjoying a fabulous weekend!

Kathleen Irish Dancer

Hiya everyone!  It's been awhile since I posted.  At the end of February, I promised I'd tell you all what hubby and I were up to the first part of March.  Along with his sisters, we gifted his mother (who lives in Michigan) with an 80th birthday surprise party!  And she was VERY surprised, and she loved the party!  His mom is not your typical 80 year old (although I wonder if there is a "typical" any longer).  She is active, goes to the gym everyday, and loves to travel and party.  Later this Spring, she's going sailing in the Bahamas!  Anyway, I arrived home with a nasty hitchhiker...a cold.  So, I've been out of commission, and am just now beginning to feel a little less yucky.  Slowly I'm catching back up on everyone's blogs...you ladies have been busy!  Thankfully I looked at the Imagine That digis by Kris Challenge #2 last night and realized I needed to get my fanny in gear or I'd miss the challenge deadline.  Whew!  Mission accomplished!  Here is Kathleen Irish Dancer!  The lovely shamrock background paper is a freebie from Kate Hadfield which you can find here.  The subway art was also a freebie, but sorry, I do not recall from whom.  Hope you enjoy this little Irish lass!

Happy Birthday Debbie!

Best wishes for a very Happy Birthday to my sister, Debbie!  Hope you have a fun-filled day!  Many hugs!
