How about a "two-fer" today? Yep, you get to see two previews today! Gingy Gumdrop and Gingy Popcorn Garland are our stars today! For Gingy Gumdrop, to coordinate with this awesome paper from the American Crafts' Merrymint collection, I used more yellow tones. When my mom saw the card, she exclaimed, "he's unbaked!" Lol, no, he's a sugar cookie rather than a gingerbread!
For Gingy Popcorn Garland I created a popcorn and cranberry strand to use as an embellishment. The popped corn kernels were hand cut and the cranberries were punched out. I glued them on a length of black thread, then attached the whole strand to the card with glue dots.
Please visit Amy's blog and Nancy's blog to see what they've created with these two sweet gingerbread men. We adore reading your comments,
and Amy, generous as always, has candy! She'll be drawing names from a hat, and you can
increase your chances of winning by commenting on all three of our
blogs. These two cuties, along with three others will be available for sale at C.C. Designs on October 3rd.

Ok, these are just too cute! First let me just say I have that gumdrop paper and I love it with little Gingy. I think it is so funny that your Mom thinks he is unbaked. Poor Gingy doesn't even get to be a gingerbread man. Oh well, who doesn't love a sugar cookie man? lol.. Next, OMGoodness I just love your popcorn and cranberry embellishment. I think it is FANTASTIC! You should be making them and selling them for card makers to purchase from you. I love this card. I can't even tell you wish one is my favorite one as they are all wonderful, but I think the popcorn and cranberries has my vote this time. Don't tell the others. I wouldn't want them to feel bad. lol... I know, it's late and I am tired and I get very weird when I am tired. Have a great day tomorrow. Please pray that everyone comes to work as they are suppose to so that I can have my half day and get to take my kids to Hastings to go book shopping. We are all looking forward to having a Mom and Kids kind of after school time, but it may not happen. Anyway sorry to blabber on. Hugs, Lisa
ReplyDeleteLOL, your mom's comment about Gingy being unbaked gave me a good chuckle, and I love your sugar cookie comeback... crackin' me up! Gingerbread or sugar cookie, either way he looks fantastic with those older AC papers. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't believe you hand cut those popcorn kernels... wow! That garland makes for such a fun finishing touch to this already terrific Christmas card! Hmmm... now I'm thinkin' somebody needs to produce some popcorn and berry dies... I would totally buy them! ;)
Absolutely adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable, I love them!!!
